The estimated population of the Philippines is ~105 million for 2017 [1]. It is often repeated that physicists (with PhD's) are one in a million in the country. Though the initial motivation for gathering the information found on this site was to fact check said claim, the details are interesting. The names in the PhD directory has not been totally confined to PhD Physics graduates -- but include PhD's working in Physics departments/institutes. Links to profile pages are provided whenever available. The directory is divided into PH-based full time university faculty members, PH-based industrial physicists, PH-based administrators, Filipinos abroad, and others.
